The children we meet are amazing and an inspiration. They’re survivors- like little superheroes in small bodies. They come from families that have been devastated by drugs, alcohol, prostitution, abuse, and neglect and have suffered more than most do in a lifetime.  Statistics say they will repeat history, but we will not accept that.  We will fight for them.  We will not let their story end like this.

Your generosity can change a child's life by providing them with access to life-transforming necessities like nutrition, education, medical care, caregiver support, and the opportunity to break free from lives of depravity and addiction.  Their needs can be overwhelming, and their behavior is challenging.  Because we understand that The children who need the most love will ask for it in the most unloving ways, we turn these behavioral difficulties into opportunities to share the gospel.

Our mission at Refuge of Hope is to provide a safe place where children in difficult circumstances can come daily to learn, experience Christian love, and realize their preciousness as image-bearers of God.  We will do this in a family-style schoolhouse environment where every child's photo is on the wall.  They know their value.  They know that they belong.
