What We Believe

There is one God, and He is the creator.  He made a beautiful world and everything in it.
God is good, and God is love.  Always.
The Bible is God's Word; He gives us all we need for life.
From the Bible, we learn about God and find our purpose.
Life began in a beautiful garden with a man and a woman.  They had perfect harmony with their creator God.  The man and woman had a close relationship with God, and were given meaningful work and guidance for keeping themselves away from harm.
The man and the woman were sought out by a tempter, believed lies, broke their Father God's trust, realized their awful misdeeds, and hid. 
All creation fell under a curse when the man and the woman doubted the love of their Creator and chose evil over God's good plan for them. 
God sought out His children and covered their sins.  He sent them away from their garden home to protect them from living forever in a state of separation from Him.
All of creation was now under a curse, and God's heart was broken.
Death would now be a part of life: separation from God and each other. 
This curse is generational and has been passed down to all people ever since.
The earth and all creation have been crying out for restoration.
There was nothing but bad news: All were lost.  There was no way back home.
But God made a promise.
Soon, there would be good, good news.
Since God loved the world so much, He would make way for people to have the opportunity to become His children and come back to Him. 
He made a rescue plan. 
He promised a Savior.
A second chance.
After many years, God's plan was revealed in His son, Jesus Christ, who took on the form of a baby and lived a perfect life.  He lived a perfect life of obedience to His Father and took the curse of humanity on Himself.  In addition, Jesus proved he was God by resurrecting from the grave after three days of death.
He came to take away the sin of the world and restore everyone who believed and trusted Him as their Savior.
Now undeserving sinners would have an invitation to abundant life!  
Perfect love won!  Now people no longer need to live in bondage!  Darkness is defeated!
Christ sets people free!

He came and is coming again.  Take heart.  Abide above.
There is Hope for those who admit they have gone wrong and choose life with God. 

Life right now and life to come.
The good news, the gospel: There is forgiveness for sinners.
No matter what has been done.  Time and again.  Every day. 
There is no end to His amazing grace.
